For Tuesdays show, Miley will help the remaining 11 hopefuls prep for their performance that night, which has a Billboard No. 1 hits theme. At 17, she's by far the youngest star to take on that role on an episode. Past guest mentors have been singers who've been around for decades, like Mariah Carey, Dolly Parton, and Paul McCartney.

On Wednesday, she'll be back to perform her own hit, "When I Look at You." Also on the show will be newly announced couple Joe Jonas and Demi Lavato. They will sing their Disney duet, "Make a Wave." Then, they'll be standing by as one of the 11 wannabe Idols gets the boot.
